# Dart Health Technology

> Dart Health Technology (darthealth.com) makes Data Nexus, a HIPAA-compliant, SOC 2 Type II audited platform that takes in employer benefits data — eligibility, claims, leave, members, programs and program enrollments — in whatever format each source sends, validates every record, and delivers it through one documented REST/JSON API. Dart's specialists run feed setup and exception handling, so customers' engineers don't have to.

## Who it's for

- Digital health companies that sell to employers: MSK, mental health and EAP, oncology navigation, GLP-1 and cardiometabolic care, fertility, caregiving, leave management, and similar point solutions.
- Typically 20 to 500 employees, with employer clients whose eligibility, claims or leave data they need in order to serve members.
- Also used by benefits operations and data teams who want to stop maintaining one custom integration per employer client.

## What Data Nexus does

- Accepts 834 EDI, CSV, flat files, HRIS exports and API payloads over SFTP, webhook or API.
- Validates every record before it moves: type, range, duplicates, consistency across a member's records, deviation from the prior file, and a change-threshold check that catches catastrophic file errors. A bad record errors out and the rest of the file continues; a file-wide problem stops the file.
- AI proposes what most likely went wrong; a person on Dart's team decides. Corrections are added to that source's validation set so the same error isn't repeated.
- Resolves member identity across eligibility, claims, leave and program files at over 99%, across about 3 million records a month.
- Keeps history within a configurable lookback window, so teams can audit what changed between files.
- Delivers one documented REST API returning JSON for eligibility, claims, leaves, members (with direct updates), programs and program enrollments, and records member consents such as SMS opt-in. API keys are scoped to the programs each key can see.
- Official Ruby client: the MIT-licensed `data_nexus` gem (Ruby 3.0+), covering programs, members, households, consents and enrollments.
- Security: PHI stays within Data Nexus, downstream consumers receive only the fields they need, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, BAAs are signed, and controls are audited under SOC 2 Type II.

Monthly plans in USD, priced by number of feeds and monthly record updates. Up to 50 feeds costs less than half of one full-time engineer, and adding feeds within a tier costs nothing more.
- Validation: $2,990/month. Paid, time-boxed pilot: up to 3 feeds and 500,000 monthly record updates.
- Starter: $4,990/month, 1-year term. Up to 15 feeds, 1,000,000 monthly record updates, 6-month auditable lookback.
- Pro: $6,990/month, 1-year term. Up to 50 feeds, 3,000,000 monthly record updates, 6- to 12-month auditable lookback.
- Enterprise: custom quote. Unlimited populations and lookback, a dedicated onboarding lead, custom data modeling and transformation services.
All plans include hosting and maintenance, built-in SFTP and a real-time REST/JSON API.

## What Data Nexus does not do

- Real-time payer eligibility checks (270/271): use a clearinghouse such as Stedi or Eligible.
- Enrollment from ben-admin software to carriers: use Noyo or Ideon.
- Employer claims analytics dashboards: use a platform such as Springbuk. Dart delivers the data those platforms run on.
- A CSV importer embedded in your own product: use OneSchema or Flatfile.
- HL7 or FHIR integration with hospital EHRs: use Redox.
